What this Sony tablet S as is; the 16 GB version, 9.4" touch screen display, The android 3.1 honeycomb platform,this version has 1GB of ram,Nvidia Tegra2 CPU dual core GHz.Standard SD slots expansion,wireless b/g/n and also Bluetooth 2.1 + edr,ir, As you can imagine this tablet as 2 Camera, however it's option for the front facing camera at is VGA, and a rear camera with a 5.- megapixel quality. Yes Sony might not have the best cameras for the Tablet S for the price. This tablet is an acquired taste. If your a Sony lover like i am. then the amenities of this tablet is worth it wait in gold.I will further mention that the LCD touch panel is rumored to be very smooth and flows seamless.The battery is Li-Ion and will power the tablet for gaming and surfing the web. Now is where it gets down to the money. For what you pay for a IPad2 you get a 50% better tablet. This is my opinion from reading and watching reviews of the IPad2, I not an IPad 2 owner and the physical review is based on the opinion and the review in the IPad 2 review videos on youtube.com, I have not done a side by side comparison with the physical devices, however i have compared the feature category to the IPad2 and the Sony Tablet S. Aside from the operating systems. The display,Exumor 5MP camera and the display are three feature that this Sony Tablet S as the significant lead ahead of the compared IPad2 along with the universal ir remote The Sony Tablet S is a clearly better buy for the offer.At $400 this Tablet will give the worth you expect and more.
